Morgroban Charity Fund

At the core of Morgroban is a desire to make the world a better place. We do this through the use of environmentally and ethically sustainable practises as well as a strong commitment to charity.

This commitment to charitable causes led to the creation of the Morgroban Charity Fund (MCF).

What is the MCF?

  • A pot of money set aside to be donated to our chosen charities

  • Each charity gets an equal portion of the pot

  • At the end of every month donations are made to each of the chosen charities

How it all works:

The money we donate comes from the sale of our products. We donate at least 15% of our predicted profits every year. We calculate this by predicting what our profits will be over the next 12 months, allocating 15% of that as donations and then spreading that predicted 15% out into 12 monthly donations.

Our pledge to our charitable causes is that if we don’t meet our predicted profits we will match the forecast donations or get as close to them as possible whilst keeping the business afloat. More importantly, if we exceed our predicted profits by the end of the year we will calculate the difference between what we have donated so far and what 15% of our final profits for the year was and donate the difference.

Is it just money?

  • No, we are also committed to volunteering

  • Although we are very small at the moment the more Morgroban grows the more donations we can make and the more people we will have to help out through fundraisers, beach cleanups and other volunteer based activities.
